Shouldn't it be $73.95 for 100mbps after 12 months?

$73.95 is the bundled price on the normal 100mbps plan. $82.95 is the non bundled price.

I think the difference they are accounting for is the data cap. This one is 1 TB, the regular 100mbps plan is only 750GB. They have the add-on $5 for 50GB, so maybe they are adding that into the $105 pricing. That's just my guess. In any case, you can downgrade or change plans as you like after the 1 year, I think.

I got this email yesterday. Will call in today to upgrade my lowly 25 mbps.

Worked! Thanks OP. I set a calendar reminder for a year from now so I don't get surprises.

I got bored staying on the line so I pressed '1' and left a message. They called me ~10 mins later so the "total" wait time was around 20 minutes for me.

I don't know what the overlap is, but I'd go with Urbanfiber over Novus if you can.
It's $30 more but you get unlimited bandwidth that's also gigabit.
After 2 years you're making your money back since it's apparently $105 after the first year.
Even if it is $82, I'd pay the extra $30 for unlimited bandwidth. Gigabit is a plus too but let's face it, no one needs speeds that quick. Even though I want it.

No it's only for those lucky jerks that live in certain buildings.
Why this is in hot deals when it doesn't apply to 99.9% of even the people in GVRD is beyond me.

Thanks for reminding me about Urbanfibre. My building isn't on the list of serviced buildings, but it is at no cost to the strata, and it may boost the property value (even beyond the 26% last year alone?).

Regular 100Mb internet service not include symmetric service, the upload speed on regular service is only 10Mb upload. This 100Mb symmetric service is regular service plus addon for symmetric service, hence the higher regular price after the promo price.

Telus has a good 150/150/unlimited internet deal for around $80 and have a decent TV service for not much extra.

Just signed up. Was quoted 1.25TB per month. Getting 93 mbit/s down and 96 mbit/s up with 1ms ping on a wired gigabit connection.

Not bad.
