A new update on the website for Apr 10, 2025:

"Update as of April 10, 2025.

We are nearing completion of the claims review process. At this time, payment of approved claims is expected to commence later in 2025.

For further updates regarding timing of payments, we recommend that you visit this website periodically. Thank you for your patience."

I used the chatbot to check the status of my 2 claims, both received the "not found in approved claims" message. Not sure why... but I sent both my claims to the decision@smartphoeperformancesettlement.ca contact...

The settlement firm’s prolonged delays and inefficient handling of claims have resulted in significant emotional distress to numerous Canadian claimants, constituting a failure to uphold reasonable standards of care and timeliness expected in the administration of such processes.

Jesus Christ, I just realized this thread is from 2020, thats more than 5 years ago and still barely anything happened or anyone has gotten paid. Definitely one of the worst handled class actions ever.

Sounds like a good case for a class action lawsuit filed against them.

Yes. I used the chat bot to check eligibility.

You can double check for an email from the initial submission with the subject “ONLINE CLAIM FORM SUBMITTED”. Maybe it ended up in spam.
