Nuvo Simplese home system

Moved into a house with the 7 year old Nuvo system installed in the basement along with four rooms/zones with speakers/wall control. The system can take 4 different inputs with no wifi compatibility.
My question is what is the cheapest way to connect another device to it so I can play music/radio from my phone?
I have reached out to Nuvo and was told their new system with wifi feature is not compatible with the speakers/wiring currently installed, if I buy their new system everything would have to be changed.
