Now that I've followed the strict code of RFD (buy now think later), I wanted to ask if this is going to make everything taste like (brown) sugar?
I definitely don’t need one, so I’ll do the right thing and pick one up on my way home. 😎

well, a brown sugar BBQ sauce should (and will!) taste brown sugar, don't expect it to taste like Asian sauce, for sayin'

Brown sugar on the label is a marketing gimmick. First ingredient on the list is regular sugar.

brown sugar sold here in canada is usually regular refined white sugar with molasse added. Unless it is called real raw sugar

Kraft BBQ sauces are on sale a few times a year for $1 at No Frills.

Last year Walmart had em on sale for 50 cents during the summer and it wouldn't surprise me if they had another sale this summer,

There are better BBQ sauces in the same price range e.g. Diana - on sale for $1 at Freshco, Food Basics, No Frills when they have their "Dollar" sale.

Regular sugar and molasses are ingredients on the regular kraft bbq sauce. This one they may have upped the molasses slightly and added a few sprinkles of brown sugar

Last summer I managed to pick up 10 assorted bottles of Sweet Baby Ray's in the US for $1 USD each - they have an amazing variety of flavours vs the one regular flavour brought into Canada - much better than Kraft (my wife calls it Krap_ft)

Sounds pretty disgusting to be honest if you can treat bbq sauce like maple syrup...

Kraft BBQ sauce just isn't worth it, even at this price. Do yourself a favour and spend a little more to at least get Bullseye or Sweet Baby Rays
