OAS notification letter for seniors

Does CRA still send paper letter to seniors notifying the OAS amount for the new fiscal year?
When does CRA typically send the letters out?
What can I do if haven't got a notice (it's not in myCRA account either)...

It was usually sent out before the July payment date, which is the 3rd last business day of the month. It is kind late this year. As long as you get your payment, then it should be ok.

OAS amounts get adjusted for inflation every 3 months and updated here.
https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benef ... ments.html
Old Age Security payment rates are reviewed in January, April, July and October to ensure they reflect cost of living increases, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

For example:

monthly payment rates will increase if the cost of living goes up
monthly payment rates will not decrease if the cost of living goes down
Note: Subsequent to the increase in the Consumer Price Index, OAS benefit amounts will increase by 1.3% for the July to September 2021 quarter.

OAS is administered by Service Canada. Fiscal year updates in July if the recipient is receiving GIS. My mom didn't receive a letter this year though
signature removed for rule violations - no referrals allowed
