OCT for Internationally Educated Teachers
I am helping a friend processing her application for OCT (Ontario College of Teachers) who has B.Ed from abroad. I am wondering if there are other people in the same boat? We can discuss all the bureaucratic hurdles and way outs.
Although there is an oversupply of teachers at this point, indeed she speaks French and she might have a chance if certified. Current challenge: She has submitted her official application. OCT require universities to send verification letter directly but there is no such system in universities in her home country. Did anyone experience the same?
