Check your VPN IP on different geolocation databases, sometimes (esp. if the IP was recently reassigned) the current location is not correctly reflected in all databases (websites usually just uses one lookup service to redirect traffic).

Anyway to run VPN software (ie. expressVPN) directly on Oculus Go?

In theory you can sideload whichever android app you want, practically going with a DNS re-director is better and less overhead on the poor headset (wont work with Oculus store as they can see past the DNS redirector but works fine for any other streaming app running on the headset like Hulu) to install official Oculus US apps on the headset just use VPN on a PC to access your account and you should be able to remotely install the region locked apps.

Wow these Baobab Studios guys make really good VR animations! If I were Disney I’d be buying them up. Disney does have their “Secrets of the Empire” experience in Edmonton and a few other places in the world. Crow felt like being in a Disney produced interactive mini movie. So cool!

Virtual Virtual Reality is the DOTD for Go, a wacky game that often makes the top lists for the platform.

I bought this one for the Rift at $16.99 in the Oculus store. Man, it’s so funny. Don’t watch the Youtube videos - just play it or they will give away too many spoilers. It’s just so good!

I also picked up the Cirque de Soleil VR experience for $5 some. It was okay, but it felt like a watered (pun intended!) down version of their stage shows. For $5 it’s fine as it gives you a little taste of the real shows without spoiling too much of them. You just don’t get the full sense even in VR of the actual grand scale of the productions. I’ve seen O, and it’s much better live. The Ka show was pretty cool with the tilt table and being right on set.
