Odd problem with Samsung TV (model: 82NU8000)

Hi all,

I am experiencing an odd problem with my Samsung TV. It fades black randomly and the sound is still on. This can happen once every 2-3 minutes or once every 2-3 hours, or sometimes never happens. It happens with the built-in app, connected computers, Xbox and Switch.

I provided a link to the problem below. The problem happens towards the end of the clip. Any insight would be greatly appreciate.

Do you have Eco mode on? Make sure to turn that off, might be the source of the problem.

Hi my TV used to do that while watching a movie. I did some research and the TV automatically dims the screen and it honestly became annoying to me. To fix this I put it to movie mode as its the only mode that doesnt do the dimming. Try that

Thank you! I read on line as well that this problem happens frequently with Samsung TV in Game Mode, which is the mode I was using. I realized that it started happening around the time I used Game mode. Now that I have switched back to Movie, it seems to be working well. One solution I saw online from a Samsung rep was "just don't use game mode". I find that advice very funny.
