The $1,250 mail in rebate is legit since the rebate form is available for download. It's whether Staples will honour the $2,600 instant rebate... :-) Nobody call them.... let the automated fulfillment system do its thing.

4 grand for a **** shredder? Are these people smoking crack?
Funny enough, one of our office shredders but the dust this morning. So, what the hell, we rolled the dice on this one. Like that it does CD's and CC's as well

In Japan, the hand can be used like a knife.
But this method doesn't work with a tomato...

Wow, for this price... it's a great deal!

Merchandise Total : $1,566.64
Coupons/Rewards : -$30.00
Shipping: Free
Estimated GST (or HST): $199.76
Total : $1,736.40

With rebate, it is $1,736.40 - $1,250.00 = $486.40

(...) I can't believe people are down voting a 93% off sale
Maybe it's because of your arrogant attitude? As in:

I'm not going to spoon feed this one. (...)
PS. Anyone who complains about lack of price in post is weak.

You sir, are no fun.
Or is it because you are peddling a ridiculously expensive item to begin with. It doesn't shred 750 pages at a time (not that it would be more useful) but only 10. Who needs a $3000 shredder when a $30-$40 one will do?

Lastly, good luck getting your mailing rebate. Those rebate companies will try to screw you any way they can. Don't be one day late, miss a box to check somewhere or omit to supply a CUP or any other proof of purchase because you'll be out of over a thousand dollars!

I'm a master of rebates in the US. My complaints added to the eventual downfall of one scamming company and the censure by the FTC of Philips. Companies have paid me to buy their stuff.
I wouldn't touch a $1250 rebate with a ten foot... err... 3.048 meter pole.

I use one of these at work. The compartment where you can lay a bunch of sheets in rarely works after the first week, so I end up having to manually feed 4 sheets at a time.

You lift the lid and put up to 750 sheets in the tray. Close the lid (can lock for security while shredding) then it works away after you leave. 10 sheets is the manual feeder. Swingline e is a pretty reputable company. Not one of the ominous cpu parts stores. Again, it's for an office of 20 people.

If people need to be spoonfed as opposed to having a little fun, then I gladly accept that I have attitude. It's a shopping forum. No quantum science work here. People need to lighten up.

I, along with several others, provided information to the FTC in both of these cases; I was contacted directly by a government lawyer concerning Prime Peripherals (OfficeMax eventually paid me as they were the retailer): https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-r ... ls-sellers
