I got it a few years ago and definitely recommend it for the average GTA 4 car size driveway.

This weekend I was able to grab one SNT2114 in a small hardware store about 40 minutes drive north to Montreal. The shop had a youtube channel and online purchase option. I believe it is $50 for delivery. The owner told me he bought a lot of inventory in advance because he had confidence they would be a hot sale.

I think it is worth checking with local hardware stores. These small stores usually buy inventory in advance, so if they still have, they will sell to you. You can also get local service of your tool which will be covered by EGO's warranty.

Thanks... I talked to another local shop in Oakville, Ontario (Cliff's Lawn) and was told that no actual SNT2110/4 units were physically in the warehouse.
They were very helpful / responsive in general though. I might just get my SNT2110 from them when it's physically here in Ontario.

Good thread. Thanks OP.

Looking forward to some new product but not so confident about Lowes/Rona, they have less stores and their customer service is not as good as HD.
1. Buy cheap, buy twice
2. Don’t buy because it’s cheap. Buy it when needed or it brings convenience/happiness/better quality in life
3. Buy now think (regret/return) later
4. If the gut says don’t tell your lady, don’t!

The seasonal guy at HD today when I was picking up a SNT2102 seemed genuinely disappointed to be losing Ego as a brand. He felt it was a quality product line that customers like and hardly ever return, and he wasn’t as enthusiastic about some of the battery OPE lines they’re left with, such as Snow Joe and Ryobi.

We don’t have Lowe’s stores here on the east coast at all, and there aren’t as many Rona stores as there used to be plus they tend to be small, so it’s going to be a bit tougher to get Ego products and parts going forward.

Did anybody successfully buy Ego at 30% off on Thanksgiving at Lowe’s pls?

If so, were you able to get the snowblowers on sale?

Metal auger. I want one now

Damn, I just completed my Kobalt set two years ago. I have everything, hard to justify switching everything to Ego

Thanks OP. Bought trimmer and hedge trimmer last spring. Just love em’! Powerful and easy to use.

Wondering how much that zero turn mower will cost? I can’t see how long a battery(or batteries) could last on such a mower? Anyways signed up for updates.

Considering that Ego has already announced a 10 Ah battery, model BA5600T, perhaps the zero turn mower would take a pair of those.

For those who are looking for a snow blower, since HD and Lowes have minimal stock or none at all, where else you buying them?
if you don't ask, the answer is always NO!

I'm still waiting TBH. Today on Twitter, Ego said the SNT2114 is coming back "soon".
If, for some reason, it can't be gotten, I might go for the Toro E61.

For me, the main constraint is a narrow garage, and the Ego blower folds up really easily. If I could get a big gas blower that folded into a vertical form, I'd certainly consider it!

The Toro E61 also folds down, albeit not as easily as the Ego.

I have the room but still want to take up little space as possible. The SNT2114 is nice! I am looking for the bare tool SNT2110. If not, I may jus get the driveway done but a contractor and grab a blower next year. But from all this time spent at home, would give me a reason to go out a do something.

Thread and its long over due, I am a bit of an Ego junkie, so I can also try to help answer any questions and give honest reviews as I can also vouch for Ego products, as I personally own, or my employer has every piece of equipment in their Ego residential and commercial line with the exception of single stage Snow blower with metal auger SNT2110 and the 2 stage Snow blower SNT2405.

I'm also in a few Ego groups on reddit & discord, and interesting thing about Ego rumors is that they usually turn out to be true. In addition to the products mentioned above, their is some talk about the following products dropping in 2021: a mini version of their chainsaw, a new commercial line hedge trimmer with diamond blades, a brush cutter attachment for the Ego power head (currently available in Australia), a new Commercial dual battery Select Cut mover with more HP and variable speed control in addition to it being self propelled. I'm waiting for a cordless detatcher and aeration tool
I can assure you if money is not an concern, and you can find their commercial products, get those over the standard line they are more durable have slightly more power.

The 30% Lowe's mystery Thankgiving sale was messy, as some stores refused to honour the discounted price saying it was not an advertised sale, I was able to get the pricing reflected online, but inventory was limited and I heard some orders were being cancelled due to there not being any inventory.

It's been told since we saw blueprints of the zero turn riding mower that there will be 6 battery slots and it should come with 4x10AH batteries when purchased!

Also here is my beast:

Holy baloney!
Given the price of Ego batteries, you might need a HELOC just to afford this product! Astonished Face
