Welp so much for those 10 cm we were supposed to get. What is it with mainstream weather forecasters overpromising and underdelivering?

I guess it is a way for weathermen to be funny or to get noticed or, maybe something else entirely?

Stopped at around by 11PM last night I think. Maybe 5cm of snow. Its gonna be warm today which is nice, and should melt most that fell last night. I am hoping hehe.

I hate weather like this. It does warm up but only hovering around 0 degree which always gives us freezing rain......

Either give us bone chill Canadian winter or double degree spring!

Lol Anyways sad to say, this one will be more than the last one. A solid 10 cm on the way.

Yeah, looks to be another Alberta Clipper but this time combining with a Colorado Low so definitely more snow than yesterday's non-event.

It got started ahead of schedule.

I am raising my forecast to 15 cm in the easternmost point of the GTA. Some areas in the NW of the GTA will get a bit under 10 cm. What you get depends on how close you are to the northwestern or eastern extreme of the GTA. Middle of Toronto I think will get the amounts said in mainstream sources, but the issue is that some parts of the GTA will get even more than what they said. Places like Oshawa will get more than mainstream sources say. The 10 cm forecasted there is too low. I would add snowfall warnings to the forecast in Oshawa and Pickering. This will be the most noteworthy snowfall of the season.
