Will this ice storm be crazy like the one we had before that made this thread blow up?

Missing those hourly reports from OP during that storm lol

My short drive to work at 8:30am in St Catharines was not bad. I definitely had to do some ice scraping before heading out. Roads were a bit slippery, but more slushy than icy at the time. Slush and ice were clogging drains, and causing some large puddles on some streets.

Right now, it's looking like it will turn to just rain before things reach catastrophic levels here.

Warmer or colder than now would be preferable.

This purgatory temperature breeds freezing rain.

Cleared some ice pellets already and salted.
Will salt again later as it seems to be building up again faster than it can melt.

OP, have to travel to Scarborough on Tuesday February 12th. Will probably be there from 9 to 5pm. They say to expect about 10cm of snow that day. What's your forecast? Thanks in advance!

What’s the best way/salt to remove 2inch ice layer from sidewalk/asphalt driveway that came down over last 2 days in Gta? Thanks

Carpet bomb it with road salt and let it sit for a few hours. Break it up with an metal shovel.

Is all the de-icing products sold out in the GTA?

Looking at the forecast for the next 7 days in the GTA, a combined total of 30 cms will have fallen. I really hope its a dud.
