Not long. You get this quick spell of winter weather, then the torch begins, quickly wiping out winter and with no end in sight for that warmth.

Should I bother changing my snow tires tonight? (It will be a rush, so hoping to do it over the weekend).

Seems like 8-13cm on the weather maps for the next 24 hours in the gta.

Lol sorry it was night time in Philippines now I gotta catch up ;)

The snow does not appear any heavier than previous forecast, but it appears to be prolonged form what I see in the latest GFS, so I can say we will get around 10 cm now. Winds too. I will inded change the thread title, BUT it is still applicable. It applies for after this storm end. When it ends, this warm trend I warned about will get going as maps still show that major warmth through the long range. But I need to temporarily change the thread title for this storm.

If you mean put on winter tires, no. It is getting mild so you don't need to be in a rush. Until I see a change in the pattern in the CFS and GFS models, you won't even need to put those on.

Since someone has asked this, I should also ask something similar.

Should I start wearing winter/snow boots? :D

I had to take a sick day. The car was sliding all over the place. I'll be getting winter tires put up hopefully tomorrow morning that way I can enjoy the snow as well.
