Just thought I would share my latest. All sources I have have now gotten on board with the idea that we will NOT be locked into a cold pattern. At the worst, EURO model says not that warm, but the cold that comes back, will keep getting pushed out with no continuous cold taking hold. CFS model has an all out warmup coming back again and NOAA has it about normal like EURO model. But none suggest any big cold spell anymore so the general consensus is normal at worst, warmer than normal at best. Maybe I better change the thread status.

Wind warning in effect for:

City of Toronto
Very strong wind gusts that may cause damage are expected or occurring.

A strong low pressure system developing over the Southern United States will continue to track northeastward to reach Southern
Ontario this evening. Strong southwest winds are expected to develop tonight into Thursday. Winds of 60 gusting to 90 km/h are likely in many open areas. A few gusts near 100 km/h are also possible for regions bordering the northeastern shore of Lake Erie.

Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.

Thi got to be the worst Christmas ever! No snow. No Cold. When I look outside it seems lifeless. When I did shopping yesterday, the mall and the people were just not giving out that "Chrismas" vibe. Without snow and the cold, we might as well call off Christmas this year.

Nope, it didn't affect them, they are probably rich, that's why they were able to travel.
