[OLG.ca] Lotto Max Dream Drop (Ontario only)

Deal Link:
Price:
$200
Retailer:
OLG.ca
More offers from OLG.ca
An exclusive clothing collection made in collaboration with Mr. Saturday.

This is a limited edition but the cool thing about it is if you purchase an item ($247.17 after taxes and shipping) you get a code for $260 in OLG funds.

You end up netting $12.83 cents and a clothing item. This is great for those who regularly buy OLG tickets already. Nm

Enjoy while quantities last.

The amount of seniors on fixed income that sink large amounts of money into OLG is super depressing.

Alternatively, you can say you have a 100% win rate for a Hoodie / apparels after buying 200+ of OLG credits.

Although I can tell just from the picture that those clothes are of the lowest quality you can find from a wholesaler. While they said made in Canada, I'm going to bet that the clothes are made in China, but they put the logos on them which "allows" them to say "made in Canada".

It is a decent deal if you play lotto everyweek.

Not quite “senior” yet, but getting there in a few years. I find gambling and playing the lottery to be relatively fun and enjoyable. Winning is less of the goal, but rather enjoying the feeling that there’s a possibility to win.

To each their own. I don’t recommend regularly playing if you really need the money.
My sister in law stalks me on RFD. So I'll say 👋 right here then. 😊

Agreed. As long as you play within your limit, it's no worse than say someone paying $2-$5 every day on a coffee. Or someone paying for video games.
Whatever makes you happy is money well spent.

Why not? You'll be getting all the ladies at the retirement homes.

Heck get the joggers and pair it with your kirkland sweater

how does the code work? can I use the $260 credit over a few years, or do I have to play every week?

It's automatic which you enter online at olg.ca. You create a profile and it will play 1 play / week for 1 year. you do not get a say in the matter.

What code? You get a voucher after you've purchased the item to add to your olg account.

So let's generously value this sweater or sweatpants at $30

That means you get $260 worth of lotto tickets for $217 or 83% (17% discount)

However you are forced to play 1x per week? That's a terrible deal.

That's like if I ordered a 1yr sushi subscription at Loblaws and they deliver to me 1 plate of sushi per week with a 17% discount on their sushi?

Or a 1yr Pizza Pizza subscription and they deliver to me a pizza each week at 17% off?...maybe 0.00001% of people would take that deal.

Yeah, that's why i said large amounts. Specifically people who hold up lines playing digital Roulette, Blackjack, etc. after having the cashier/dealer scan there 40 OLG tickets. "Hit me one more time" as 6 people behind them are waiting to pay for quick item they forgot on there way home. These people clearly have gambling addictions but i guess if its OLG its ok lol .

It depends on how you see it. I play lotto every week for work for the last few years and would continue to do so without any discount offered in the first place. You may not play regularly, but others may. Getting something free out of something you do regularly isn't necessarily bad.

I haven't crunched the numbers on Lotto Max, but 97% of Lotto 6/49 tickets do not win a cash prize. Free plays are given away to make it feel like you've won something, but remember that 97% of those free plays don't win a cash prize either.

So you over pay, you're forced to play and free advertising for OLG definitely win win for them.
