Would be great if it wasn't for line ups. At least in the GTA, Krispy Kreme is always filled with large families and line ups of people whenever they run promos like this.

I'd rather go buy a doughnut somewhere else than wait 40 minutes to get one for free.

I don't remember when but I've come to the point in my life that standing in what's probably a minimum 1 hour line for a single donut doesn't seem appealing to me.

If it were full priced limited edition donuts then hell yes though. I'm so trash.

Many complain their wage is too low yet the same people have no issues waiting 30 minutes for a free 1$ donut.
The irony...

Agreed, super tempting but the lineups are crazy even when there are no deals... I can't even imagine the lineups for this one in the GTA. Went last Sunday to get a box and it was at least 20 mins at around 11am.

Krispy Kreme in the US is already giving away free donuts every day for an entire year as long you show them your vaccination. They might start doing it for Canada.

Can anyone comment on the Heartland lineup? Are they offering the BOGO dozen for $1?

They were just giving some false info on 680 news now. They were saying 1 free donut for just coming in, a free fritter if you show the app, 3 free donuts for proving you received a vaccination shot. And they mentioned the $1 for a dozen. Lots of fake news.
