I don't recall the 8 Pro being BOGO50 before?

On Amazon.in, it is being sold for INR 43,000 which is $750 (Including taxes). In India, one plus phones have always been cheaper whereas other flagships like S20 , Iphone 12 etc are way more expensive.

Would not trust OnePlus anymore. Their quality went way downhill. My Oneplus 7T crapped out within a year during Covid19 (minimal use, almost no outside exposure).

At that price point, there are better choices.

Totally agree. I have the same one and I don't like it. I remember being much happier back when I had the 5T version

Lol why would you buy a Oneplus at this price? Get the S21 with the pre-order promo. Pixel 5 is a good cheaper choice too.

I gave up on OnePlus, sold my 8 Pro. OnePlus does not support wifi calling or VolTE in Canada

Who would you trust in terms of quality for Android?

I had high hopes for the Pixel5, but Google craped the bed as usual with the stupid screen gap problem.
What if there were no hypothetical questions?

Why? You probably had a lemon. It's kind of foolish to say that their quality has dropped. Oneplus makes some of the best phones. They went from making value phones to genuine flagships with top of the line hardware. The screen on the 8 is amazing, especially at 120hz and AMOLED display. I have the 8. It is buttery smooth and extremely fast.

Their pricing and "never settle" motto might have went downhill, but Oneplus now makes one of the best phones in the world

S21 went backwards too. It's sad that smartphones not only didn't improve, but have regressed this year compared to last years models.

My 7T is working fine and got it brand new for $446 CDN, Flashed the global rom and I am good to go. Hard to beat it for that price.

Here's hoping these BOGO 50% deals means sales are weak. Oneplus is a meme brand now
