Finally got in touch with our MPP’s office to see if they could do anything and they received the same response as calling the customer service line. Absolutely nothing can be done we just need to wait….crazy

They said anyone that applied in the first few days have an issue with their account. If your are “verified” it means you’re approved to receive the money but the system error is to do with payment processing. They escalated my account and he said they are working very hard to get everyone paid out by mid February.

Does anybody have thoughts on the "special needs" aspect of this application. It was the same as the previous payment, that they really don't give great details.
My child has an IEP, gets a tablet to assist with school work, but I wouldn't really consider him to have a special need like disabled kids, severely autistic ones, and so on. They just make these applications so grey - it's only $50, but on the other hand, it's $50.

They told me the exact same thing Jan 4 when I called them. I received my email for payment today so I have faith everyone else will be getting there’s soon to. No payment as of yet. I would think it will be deposited in the next couple days

Its February 8th and I still haven't received the catch up payment. Haven't even gotten the email to say its coming. I applied for it the first day. I'm getting frustrated! I've called 4 times and they always give me the same answer, that they are behind because of the amount of applications that came in. And to just keep waiting.

Wow, almost 4 months later and some are still waiting? The best thing to do is set up autodeposit with e-transfer and you will get the money as soon as they send it over. Any other option will slow the process down.

I did choose e-transfer! Still taking forever. The women told me today that a glitch happened & many of the people who applied the first 4 days, their applicarions were affected. They are still behind in paying many people who applied in October.

Also received the email 2 days ago and still no payment. Every other time payment was the next day so it seems there are still issues

I received payments for 2 out of my 3 kids. Not sure why our youngest did not come through, though he is in a different school. Looks like I'll have to call them again.
