I found a replacement John Wood 50 gallon power vent water heater that I was going to go with, but now with the 25% rebate, I am considering the tankless option if it's only a few hundred dollars more.

I'm considering this unit - https://www.lowes.ca/product/tankless-g ... ted-523348

Lowes currently has a save the tax event. It would be a great buy when stacked with the Lowes 15% off installation services.
Saving the tax definitely makes it sweeter. I'll check it out after work tomorrow, thanks!

I found an old thread on tankless water heaters. Worth a read.

Definitely a good read! That's where I got the 1k+ installation info from, though one said ~1k, while another was quoted $1750. Nothing will beat getting my own quote, but too hectic at work this month so just fishing for other experiences/estimates for now.

I was quoted less than $400 for installation, but installer suggested adding Rheem Tankless Service Valves ($132 per set , at HD). It's a proprietary thread on these valves, so there is no generic work-around that I know of.
Wow, even with the extra $132, that sounds pretty good. Was this quote through Home Depot or contractor you know/found?

$1298 each on Aug 27 > $1548 each on Aug 28 > $1048 each on Aug 29
Lowes website is messed up, or at least whomever is in their IT department. The prices having been jumping all over the place, even on the same day. The price may even say higher like $1248, but when you add it to the cart is will display $1048 with apparently $100 in savings, which means it's originally $1148 & not $1248??!! Only way to be sure when it comes to Lowe's is to go in store and see the posted price, which in this rebate, you have to do anyways.

The HVAC contractor who is doing all the natural gas work in our new home gave us this quote.

Doesn’t look to be a lot of (or any) top or bottom freezer fridges that qualify or am I blind?

Thanks. I went in store last night and confirm it’s still $795. This is until October. (I can’t remember the exact date but someone else posted a pic of it earlier in the thread.) Seems to be an in store only price. I managed to get another $50 knocked off it too to compete with Lowes’ save the tax event.

FYI - Home Depot is now offering this! Seems like they have much bigger selection (at least for Fridges).

Just for reference we bought 5x pieces of LG @ Lowe's here was the deal we ended up getting ...

LG Washer WM3700HVA - $948 (No tax + 25% ESR)
LG Dryer DLEX3700V - $948 (No tax + 25% ESR)
LG Dishwasher LDP6997ST - $898 (No tax + 25% ESR)
LG Fridge LFCC22426S - $1998 (No tax, does not qualify for ESR)
LG Gas Range LSG5513BD - $2098 (No tax, does not qualify for ESR)

+ Free shipping

I think all in we paid less than $6.5K?
