Ontario - METRO - 25 BAMs WU Link AMs Card to MY METRO (website or App) & use an offer (August 13th thru September 10th)

25 Bonus Airmiles when you link your Airmiles Card to the MY METRO APP or Metro.ca website and use one or more offers for the first time (August 13th thru September 10th)

COUPON STATUS

NO COUPON REQUIRED. However there is a portal on the offer at the AirMiles MegaMiles website = https://www.airmilesmegamiles.ca

That portal takes you to the AirMiles website.
Click on SIGN IN NOW to go to the Metro.ca website

If you already have an account log in
If not CREATE an account
LINK your AMs Card, and use an offer from the weekly list you’ll receive (NEW Offers arrive every Thursday, and you must log in & LOAD them for them to be valid)

This entire process of creating a NEW MY METRO Account, can also be done in the App.

Do I need to create an online account? I downloaded the metro app and linked my AM #. It didn’t ask me to create an account.

The instructions seem to say either or.

Personally I have had MY METRO for at least a year. I started with the online account, then added the app later to my phone.

I know if I go to Metro.ca, and want to check or manage MY METRO COUPONS / OFFERS that it asks me to log in with my email & password ... not my AMs number (in this way Metro differs from the way the Sobey’s Group MY OFFERS website works)

There has been other offers before where you sign up to the newsletter with AM to get bonus points. I dont think that affect this offer, but I'm not confident

Those are offers to subscribe to the AirMiles Newsletter / Emails.
Often seen offered in the Grocery Store Flyers ... 25 BAMs is the usual reward for signing up for those

This offer is not the same thing.

This is for signing up to get the Metro App, or to get Emails directly from Metro Inc
In turn you get PERSONALIZED WEEKLY OFFERS for BAMs from Metro

These are offers not found anywhere else.
(Not the same as the ones found on the AMs Website under GET MILES)

These are over time personalized to your Shopping habits
Only available thru Metro.ca or the Metro App

It is very similar to the MY OFFERS program that the Sobey’s Group runs

In that case, I dont know how the APP functions. Installing the app, it asks to sign up with AM. If I uninstall the app, and reinstall, it'll ask the same thing. There's no sign in.
So there's nothing to let me know if the offer was claimed before, so i can't use this offer for mega miles no knowing if my AM was already used before.

Actually this may not necessarily true. If you never register your AM #'s with the app, but made purchase at Metro on products that they offered bonus AMs, you may get the same line. I guess it comes down to you ever do that or receiving email from Metro about coupons offered to your specific account each week or not. Also way back, they offered 50AM to create account and link with your AM, so I think most of us did that already

The only complication with this offer, is it’s a 2 parter ... you have to sign up online or download the App ... AND you have to make a purchase.

This is where it comes in handy to have an AirMiles buddy in other provinces. So you can tag team offers.

If you’ve previously signed up with Metro.ca or MY METRO ... then you are most likely getting emails from Metro weekly.

The language from the back of the offer T&Cs ... I have now typed out into the OP in this thread:

Signing up @ Metro.ca works as long as you link your AMs Card to take part in the MY METRO Offers portion of the website. Or, downloading the App and linking your AMs Card works too.

The key here is they want you to look & load at Metro MY METRO Offers weekly... and use them. You have to do ALL of these things to earn get credit for this MegaMiles Offer.

It’s a ONE & DONE OFFER ... so only folks who are new to MY METRO Offers are gonna qualify for this one.

I did it through the website and got the points on my receipt. AM has no way of knowing how you have done it. Just make sure to LOAD your offers. Then you simply scan your card and the offers are applied automatically.

I agree the language is not totally clear. The front of the offer says "when you link your air miles card on the My Metro app and use one or more offers for the first time". The back says "...for AirMiles Collectors who have not already linked their Airmiles Card to their Metro.ca account or the MY METRO App for the first time. The criteria for a minimum of one MY METRO App Offer must be met to qualify for this offer."

I already have an account (since 2019) on the metro.ca website and my air miles number is on it. I have received air miles from Metro twice in the past. I don't have the My Metro app so can I still load the load the app, link my air miles card to it and use an offer via the app to fulfill a partner count?
