YESSS! Perfectly coincides with my last day of work at this place and it means my full month off in between jobs is in Stage 3! Have to make up for lost time!

International students are coming back in September. Officially they are only allowed into Canada two week before the start of in-person classes. Anecdotal report says that's not strictly enforced at border, but most students will likely follow this rule, as no one likes to be sent packing after landing in Canada.ilovetoyota wrote: ↑ When will Canada open the door to international students and foreigners?

As for tourists and other non-essential travelers -- not for a long time. International students should provide significant support for condo rentals though.

I don't know, people were okay waiting until now because they saw vaccines were developed and we had a reasonable timeline to administer them which we have actually beaten considerably. I really don't think people would have patience for this again. I know I wouldn't and I feel I have been extremely patient, mostly because I benefited from lockdown/ratecuts/wfh etc. But at some point enough is enough and we just have to cope.

It is not the original form of the virus we need to worry, it is the variant that have become a concern. I think we need to see how much spike we are going to get from the variant before we can say we beat covid 100%.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, i'll be wearing my face diaper going forward for flu season. That an proper hand washing have left me with no colds, flu, or ear infections for the first flu season in my adult life.

Haven’t had a cold in 2 years. I think these offices are not well ventilated. One person gets sick and it goes around the office getting everyone sick.
