Ontario outlets question

Hi folks,

We're going to Ottawa (from Québec) and then Sandbanks and then back to Québec. When we were there 2 years ago, on our way back, I've notice there was some outlets along the way. Is there any outlets you might think that are worth a stop?
Pourquoi pas?

Outlet Shopping is terrible in Canada vs the USA
And in the USA it’s going the way of the DoDo Bird ... and quickly
It’s essentially over ... so 1980s & 1990s

Once the home to various Designer & Brand Name Stores
Home of the ends of season, lines or seconds from the likes of
Coach, Michael Korda, Calvin Cline, Brooks Brothers, Nautica, Guess, Gap, Nike, Samsonite etc
Today, most of them are becoming empty eye-soars
Being pushed there by the popularity of Online Shopping and the ability for the consumer to shop around for the best price from the comfort of their own home

Only outlet stores we now bother with at all are in New Hampshire
A state with NO TAX
Then a visit is worthwhile on an rainy vacation day as something to pass the time ... ng/outlets

* NOTE - More than the standard outlet store (ala Tanger or Premium Outlet Stores)
I can still get behind TRUE Factory Stores that have first run merchandise ...
Or a clearance centre
Those rock
By far one of the best examples is LL Bean and the entire campus of Stores they offer in their hometown of Freeport Maine
That is worth the trip / detour if anyone happens to be in Maine anytime of year
Stores OPEN 24/7 around the clock 365 Days a Year ... they don’t even close for Christmas or Thanksgiving
(Store Campus of 4 + 1 Stores = Main / Flagship - Home Store - Bike, Boat & Ski - Hunting & Fishing - plus Outlet / Clearance) ... ort-maine/

Outlet stores are really not a place to find good deals.

There is a Tangier Outlet mall in Ottawa's west end.

Outlet malls are a place where "high" end retailers sell low end products with their name on the label. The products are not the same as in their retail stores. Then again, there are so many people that buy knock offs that is is an industry unto itself. ... -1.3392279 ... et-stores/
