Ontario Sonography Admissions 2020

Hey, has anyone else here applied to sonography programs in Ontario and is anxiously waiting to hear back? Hoping we can all struggle through the wait together haha

I applied to Michener, St. Clair and Cambrian and recently got accepted into Cambrian, woo!

hey, i just made an account specifically to respond here! lol

i’ve applied to cambrian but have yet to hear anything :/ i feel confident about my grades so i’m worried (maybe irrationally) that something went wrong with my transcripts or something. what were your pre-req grades that got you into cambrian, if you don’t mind me asking?

Maybe try contacting the program coordinator?

I can't remember the exact grades (I'm a few years out of high school), but I graduated with a 97 average in Grade 12!

so i just got waitlisted at cambrian. with a 95% average... that seems abnormal to me? i'm really upset right now

Don't be upset! Many accepted applicants will decline their offers, which will make you move up the waitlist. And since your average is so high already, I'm positive you'll get an offer!

Hey! I am wondering, did you need to interview at Cambrian? Was there any test, etc.? How do they weight your assessment?
