Try calling diagnostic imaging dept at hospitals for appointment - tell them you can take anytime including cancellation on last minute basis

Another one is GNMI Medical Imaging

Or Do a google search

The OP is asking for an OPEN MRI as she/he is probably claustrophobic. I doubt any Ontario hospitals have OPEN type units as they operate at lower field strengths <1.0T. Hospitals typically have 1.5T-3T systems for greater clinical capabilities and shorter exam times. Certainly the 2 GNMI MRI units (Ajax and Mississauga) are not open type units, they are 1.5T.

There is an open unit in Buffalo: http://buffalomri.com/services/mri-serv ... /open-mri/ They have info for Canadian patients on their website: http://buffalomri.com/canadian-patients/ I don't know if one could get across the border with the current Covid-19 situation.

Sorry - I misunderstood the question. I thought he was asking for a place that was open for doing MRIs since many hospitals had their MRIs "closed" i.e. emergency needs only

if you're claustro just get sedation.

I'm an MRI Tech and open systems are trash for scan quality
