Anyone find a way to opt for the gc instead? Don't want the crappy earphones.

They're legitimate. My first time using them earned me a visa prepaid card of $75. Then I referred my wife and each of us got a visa prepaid card of $100. We both went to the City Dental Bloor West Clinic. The service was good. We paid around $460 each for cleaning, check-up and x-ray. I personally checked the cost with my colleagues before we came in. They said the price was acceptable. In addition, we had insurance cover it so we were happy. That was my experience with Opencare. Hope this helps.

I don't get this, what's the catch? This company is just giving away airpods?

You'll also get 75,000 Drop points if you book through them. So combining both offers I'd say this is a pretty hot deal.

Interesting. For those who have been, how's their dental service? $460 seems pretty high for basic cleaning appointment, but I guess if you have good insurance coverage, can take advantage of the freebies.

How can I just get $250? I don't want airpods... I should wait until they run out?

Looks like they partner up with dentists and get a cut of every appointment booked through them. They're offering free rewards to get patients to start using them.

seems like you can't combine them
I try to register from the airpod link, the top will say airpod
when I open the drop link, it is replaced by the drop points

Don't downvote it just because it is not available on your location, it is a very good deal.

If you find your dentist through a platform like this, it's a sure fire way they are going to gauge you.

The best way to find a dentist is through family/friends ... and even then.

You cannot use both. Using the drop link will only get you 75,000 drop points.

Redemption region can be found here: https://www.opencare.com/support/?q=where-can-i-claim

The Opencare promotion is only valid at dental offices in the following regions:

Greater Toronto Area
Hamilton
Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo
Guelph
Bradford West Gwillimbury
Cobourg

Curious what the average pricing is for a cleaning...?

Booked an appointment for 2 weeks from now, gonna try to redeem as late as possible to get the cash(or gift card) instead of the Airpods.

Is there a code I can enter? I keep looking for a specific dentist - which is on Opencare but doesnt show up when they force me to match based on their criteria.

FYI:

I got a $50 Visa giftcard years ago... so I am not eligible.
Deal with it.
