Tested for the past 3 hours with a dual core Archer C2600,
Subjectively, appears to be a bit more peppy. :)

No issues encountered as of yet.

I think for say routers like edge-x or dual core mtk if you want offloading you need to stick with older 18.x till they figure stuff out.I'm waiting for outdoor wbs210 v1.2 builds with ath79 myself.

Interesting post
https://forum.openwrt.org/t/rpi4-routin ... rs/53996/6

if applicable to all a72/73 socs or other sbc's comes out with dual ethernet (a rumored rpi with dual nic is going around). No body is buying routers anymore.

I just bricked my E2500 Linksys while trying to install this. Damn it..

Anyone recommend a sub $100 router I can use with DD-WRT or Open WRT ?

If you need a new one right away, there is the TP-Link Archer C7.
Warning: Different installation procedures depending on hardware revision.

Otherwise, you can refer to the OpenWrt list for supported routers.
