Organic eggs - which are best?

I shop on a budget but have decided that it might be worth the health benefits to buy organic eggs. I spend really good money on the ones I buy which have usually been the PC Organics brands but find that there are so many other choices and I am not sure how to differentiate in terms of which may be best in terms of nutrition and health-related factors. Does anyone have any suggestions of what to consider/ignore?

I buy mine at Costco. $10 for 24 i believe. Grass fed is best but also really expensive. You can find them in the organic Isle at Superstore in the fridge section.

My family eat a lot of eggs. About 3 to 4 dozen a week. I find the grocery store "organic" branded eggs to be pretty, blah, actually. If I have to buy grocery store eggs, I find the Compliments Balance, in the blue plastic package to be as good as any organic egg on a grocery store shelf.

However, the go to egg for us is the Vita Eggs free run from our local health food store. These have big rich deep orange yolks that make an egg so good. Especially poached or soft boiled. On the left in the picture attached.

They know I buy a lot at time, so they will warn me when I walk in if they are out or low of stock. Lol.

eggs with a darker yolk are almost exclusively due to marigold extract being added to their feed. these chickens are rarely truly free range despite "free range/ run" labeling on the carton. supplementation with marigold flower extract has been shown to increase the lutein and zeaxanthin content of the eggs which is a good thing.

i go through about 3 eggs a day. i've been meaning to pick up some duck eggs again. those have the darkest yolks i have seen. small flocks farm is the closest thing i have seen to a truly free range commercial brand.
Good, better, best. Never let it rest. 'Til your good is better and your better is best.

I will second this. Always get mine from Whole Foods.
