Looks like it's almost free to live in a jail cell for 2 nights

Yup. 28 new cases today. Mostly in the under 40s too.

I am not liking the shared washroom........assuming this is where you shower as well? Luckily I still have some soap bars left over from my old traveling days.

I would hardly call 28 cases a hotspot given the area has a million people.

I'd feel safer visiting a Toronto nightclub without a mask than the Byward Market with one.

Difference between 28 total & 28 new.

From https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/o ... -1.5664374

Ottawa's 28 new cases represents a little less than a quarter of Ontario's 119 new confirmed cases today, despite Ottawa accounting for less than 10 per cent of its population.

Either way with no social distancing, it is just plain wrong. Don’t tell me you are going to a night club with social distancing. Mask or no mask, I hope u are not the next victim.

Make sure you don’t bend over to pick the soap from floor.

The Fairmont Chateau Laurier is on this list. Assuming they don't stack, the BOGO offer they have is a better deal.

Numbers went up ever since we've moved into Phase 3. People are out partying again and not taking precautions.

In what world did you think I was being serious? Never in any lifetime would I wish this virus on anyone, my point was that it's not worth a great deal to risk your family's life in a current hot spot, especially with a deal that's only good until the end of this year.

Ottawa coronavirus cases
There have been 367 new COVID-19 cases reported in Ottawa so far in July, nearly three times the 132 cases reported in June.
Considering that Toronto had 6 cases reported today and Peel with 7, Ottawa is now the hotspot city for the province. In normal times, I would be going to Ottawa this long weekend to hang out with friends of mine who live there, but that's obviously not happening this year.
