130k premium to back onto greenspace and 9' walkout basement.
Wow $130k lot premium?! I think that's the highest I've seen...it doesn't even look like you get a bigger lot for that price? (I mean no rear neighbours and walkout basement is nice, but if I'm paying that much I'd expect a bigger lot too.)

Pretty sure that area is not going to be developed - it is some sort of green conservation area. There was a sign along Terry fox Dr.. I don't remember what the sign exactly said though.

Looks like a regular sized lot.. I think they slipped in 9' basement to somehow justify that lot premium.
They had $130k lot premium last year as well, but it was for walkout basement plus HUGE backyard.

Also to note, their standard lot depth has shrunk to 100 feet. IRCC, it was around 105 feet in phase 3?

Seriously?? How do you know this info?

If true, Ottawa RE is way hotter than I thought...if this many people are willing to throw $1 million at a house in the suburbs. I don't think we are hitting a price ceiling anytime soon at this rate...

Curious what Cardel's prices will be when they release in RR in the spring.

It is easy. Selling my current small single for 800k and only have to mortgage another 400k. For double income family in Kanata, it is nothing. Also considering this is uniform, they are supposed to be the most expensive builder.
