Outdoor lightning contractor?

Hi guys I'm looking for an lightning contractor that specializes in outdoor lighting. An electrician friend told me to look for someone who specializes in outdoors because they have wire boring machines that can run wires underground while most regular electricians wouldn't have a machine like that and would just dig to bury the wires.

Anyone have any good experiences with a company that they would recommend?

I think you need to laid a conduit to protect the wire, not just have bare wire running under the soil. You can also choose low voltage outdoor garden lights which does not require an electricians to run (which is what I'm using).

Yeah LV is what i want but i still want the wires to be hidden so i want to find someone who can do that without having to dig trenches.

FYI, I have my landscaping contractor bury a conduit and run the low voltage wire. Not necessary but I want to have peace of mind that it won't be easily damaged.

Unless you're doing up 50 lights on a massive estate, grab a spade and put the wires in the ground by hand.

You're going to spend thousands of dollars if you hire someone with a trenching tool or directional boring to pull wires through the yard.

And if you're ready to spend thousands of dollars on labor to install exterior landscaping lighting, you're not likely posting on RFD looking for contractors.

You have to dig trenches regardless. You can rent a mini trencher that will make it easier - you don't have to actually go all that deep if you are just putting in low-voltage wire. It is quite easy to do.

If you're not comfortable touching electricity, you can hire an electrician to do all the hookups after you have laid the wire initially.

Also make sure to get a locate done first.
