Why are there 2 different threads for this item? I just posted the following in the other thread (expired deals):

Just wondering... for those that already have one of these for a year or longer. Do you have it setup outside and if so, do you leave it out all year round? How are they holding up?

I'm curious because I have used other plastic outdoor power posts and left them out all year round. One has stopped working - don't know if it's by coincidence, or that they aren't well built (less expensive model), or if the weather got to it. I'm trying to decide whether to use this indoors or outdoors.

Also, unless these units are complete garbage, I think that it's worth it for $15 if you need a 6-outlet outdoor post, regardless of how well the wi-fi functions. I have seen other posts that have only 3-outlets that cost more than this. If the wi-fi works well enough - bonus! Just my 2 cents (and my post
