Outlook 2010 Email Client: How to remove old Email Address Sync

Hey everyone. I have Outlook 2010 Email Client. I need instructions how to remove an old Email Address synchronization but still keep the existing messages on my Outlook for reference purposes. So I have an email that syncs to the Outlook 2010 email client, and I wish to stop future syncs but keep all the messages that I already downloaded. Could a computer wizard provide me easy step by steps to complete this task. Thank you kindly!

I had major syncing and account issues with onedrive, email, and microsoft 365 both with personal and school accounts. Took 2 hours with Microsoft support to straighten everything out. Good luck!

Could copy them to a folder on your existing other email account. If you have room for them.

But this should do what you want.

You could modify the Send-Receive groups on the Send-Receive tab not to include that email address. Just remove the checkmark for it.

Create a new PST, call it "Archive". Create a mail folder, call it "Inbox". Copy all of the emails you want to save into that new folder.
