PNE: Taste of PNE Mini Donuts Drive Thru Event - May 22 to 24, 1-7pm daily (Vancouver Only)

Deal Link:
Price:
$20-$35
Expiry:
May 24, 2020
Retailer:
Pacific National Exhibition
Drive thru event held at PNE fairground, looks like it will be first one of planned events. Featuring mini donuts from Cin City, PNE Fundunkers, Those Little Mini Donuts and Tin Lizzy. Support local, Canadian-owned businesses during this time

I'm definitely a sucker for mini donuts and usually get my fix at Rogers Arena during Canucks games, and every time I'm at the fair during PNE but alas those aren't happening anytime soon. By buying tickets online in advance, you get two complimentary admission tickets on opening day to the PNE in 2021. There are usually admission deals during opening weekend, so not sure the what the value is at this point. I guess it is over a year away, but bonus is bonus.

Family Donut Pack - 48 donuts $35.00 - 12 donuts from each vendor
Standard Donut Pack - 24 donuts $20.00 - 6 donuts from each vendor

You don't need to do advance tickets, can also pay as you drive thru, just no complimentary PNE 2021 admission tickets.

I'd rather sit in a restaurant and have a meal than pay those prices for sugar dough at rip off prices.

It's not a terrible deal.. you get 2 passes for the fair next year.

This will be popular. Vancouver sheep will line up so they can get some fulfillment in their boring lives. Like the peeps lining up at Krispy Kreme in Delta for 2 hours.

Too bad tickets for opening day only otherwise I'd be on board.

The PNE ticket order page states:
"And as a way of thank you for your support, all pre-purchased orders will also recieve two complimentary admissions to the 2021 PNE Fair"

Nothing mentioned about opening day.

Edit: I do see that the main page mentions opening day... that's too bad.

So so deal. For that price with the donuts, and the value and uncertainty of these outdoor events, I'd rather wait til 2021 to see whether it is even worth going into the park. Just imagine the long line ups everywhere along with social distancing.

These donuts are only good fresh from the fryer, if they've been sitting more than a few mins taste will really suffer. So come prepared to chow down then and there.

I thought you were kidding, but just happened to be driving by on a random Tuesday night and couldn't believe what must have been a 25 car lineup. Madness!
