Costco has the same one is $189.99 right now. Maybe it was on sale.

Costco also has a compact model: EH-NA27-K mini hair dryer, which is $94.99 but 1400W.

I think it was $149 at Costco during Black Friday weekend.

This is a really nice hairdryer, apparently heats noticeably faster than the wife's previous model.

Amazon.com (US) just had it for $USD 60 for 2 weeks from Nov 23 until Dec 6 and will ship to Canada for another $USD 2x.xx. All in it's a lot cheaper than even getting it from Costco/Panasonic Canada.
The price drop happens a number of times throughout the year and if you don't mind getting it from the US. Use CCC or Keepa to track the price drops.
