It’s already been started for P+ Canada subscribers Showtime Canada all ready in process merging . 5 of their shows already been added to the streaming service. More on the way

This month Feb house of lives being added, and more SHOWTIME documentary ADDED

Twin Peak baby on they way

They already got their Nickelodeon titles now they just need their Star Trek franchise to be exclusive for Canadian P+ subscribers

And this month Bell craves losing all James Bond 21 movie titles go straight to prime video Canada can’t wait 🤞🏽

Bond movies went to the new MGM Plus service, not Prime.

Showtime is taking a page out of WB's book and removing shows from the service, to sell them, write them off etc.

The setting for the show is Boston.

It would be quite awesome if a certain bar were to make a cameo....

Do you think this show can be good without so many of the key people? Obviously not John Mahoney, but David Hyde Pierce, Peri Gilpin and Jane Leeves? Since Leeves stars on "The Resident," it seems doubtful she'd change her mind except maybe she'd do a cameo. But no Niles? I'd check it out, but it might work best for people who don't know the original at all. What's your opinion?

The same argument was made with Fraiser post Cheers.
So long as the new characters are interesting, and the show is funny, why not?

I expect this show will have some sort of Everyman to fill Mahoney's shows.
By design, most viewers related to his average joe perspective towards brain culture.
The same formula was what made Fraiser work at Cheers - the comedy of brains mixed with brawn.

I would piss my pants if they would have him enter Cheers, and within there would be all the same characters doing the exact same thing, only much much older. By the end of the episode, He'd basically flee, almost scared of the lack of growth over the span of multiple decades. Basically subvert the friendly bar where everyone knows your name into a succubus that claims your very soul.

Good analogy. Makes sense.
