that's an ok price for ramps. you could probably find them for $40 used.
i wonder if my lowered car with body kit can get on without extensions. do they even sell extensions for this ?

I tried this with my lowered car years ago and it couldn’t get on. So really need to double check. And my car isn’t even that low.. 1 finger gap.

Can’t wait for the following comments:

“They’re plastic”
“You can make your own with 2x4’s”
“Just use a curb”
“Will these work for my insert car model here?”

You're going to need at least 2x6's, 2x8's or 2x10's preferred.

I've used these for both an 8th and 9th gen civic as well as a B7 A4 SLine and haven't had issues with clearance. Probably done 10+ oil changes with no worries

Just looks like he rammed his wheels into the top part of the ramp too hard and it split the ramp.

We’ve had the same set for 3 or 4 years and has been used on 3 different vehicles for oil changes. No damage or wear on them so far

I have them and they're good. A little slippery but sturdy.

The only main problem is that these ramps don't work well if your car is low. For example, on a stock MkV Jetta/Golf, these won't really work.

Could have been user error or product failure. We don't know, as we were not there when it happened.

Maybe somebody compromised/overloaded them previously.

Whatever caused them to split, just saying that they need to be inspected frequently and throughly.

I had the old metal ones years ago, never used them so I sold them. I need to get under my accord to change the foglights, and this may be the easiest solution. Thought about jacking it up (floorjack and jackstands on hand already), but this seems easier, safer...

Yeah, it would seem likely. I've also seen photos of them split under vehicles sitting on gravel and even mud or grass surfaces. It always surprises me how many people don't follow the instructions then complain when the product fails.

Having said that I've got an older non-stackable set and much prefer that design.

Even my stock G35 sedan with OEM front lip can't use it. I had to extend it with wood.
It is also quite slippery however putting a tire in front can solve this problem.
