Paying for credit card statement with Paytm

Hi,

I am sure this has been discussed but it's really hard with the search function to find what I am looking for. I wanted to know if I pay a credit card statement with another credit card (registered with Paytm), whether I will be charged a fee for cash advance.

I asked Paytm and this is the response: seems like it's yes and if I get charged a fee they will reimburse me? (pretty sure they meant reimburse and not remembrance)

Can I pay a credit card bill trough Paytm? I see multiple credit cards listed including the one I wish to pay.

If so, will it be considered cash advance by the credit card issuer?

Great question!

We don't charge any fee if you transact through your bank account, Paytm cash or Master card. But using "Amex" - 3% for regular and 2% for regular.
