PayPal US conversion

I can't find that thread about the steps to avoid using PayPal conversion rate.

Can someone refresh me on the steps to take to disable that feature in PayPal? I have to make a payment on cc in US dollars and don't want to use PayPals conversion.

At the payment screen just click on the currency option and select no conversion.
I just wish it was a permanent selection as I forget sometimes.

Maybe I should create a US account?
