Bright side of RFD: Often find good deal
Dark side of RFD: Tons of stuff that I don't need but still got them because of RFD

Unfortunate end here. I had no use for them when they stopped allowing us to use credit cards to pay bills.

An Important Message to Our Loyal Customers,

We have always prided ourselves on being transparent with our customers. You may recall that we had to introduce convenience fees in November 2019 due to the unfavorable economics of bill payments, and we communicated this through our emails and blogs.

During these unprecedented times we have had to make some tough business decisions. Unfortunately, as of March 14, 2022 the Paytm Canada App will be shutting down permanently. Effective January 14, 2022, we will be disabling Scheduled Payments and Top-Ups for Paytm Cash which includes, EMT transfers, Canada Post and Bank Transfers. Any bill payments that are submitted and/or that have been pre-scheduled over the next 30 days will be accepted.

Should you have an available balance in your Paytm wallet, we would like to recommend using it towards either a bill payment and/or gift card purchase by March 14, 2022. We would also like to suggest redeeming your Paytm Points towards any available gift cards on the App by March 14, 2022 as we will be unable to offer any compensation for them.

Providing Canadians with a fast, convenient and reliable solution will always give our team a sense of pride. We want to sincerely thank all of our loyal customers for continuing to use our app to pay their bills for the past 5 years.

If you have any questions and/or concerns please email our Customer Care team at: [email protected].

Sincerely,
The Paytm Canada App Team

Probably best to post this in the personal finance section, but I think most people dropped PayTM a while ago.

Yeah we all did. Specifically in November 2019.

How the hell do I convert points to paytm cash to pay portions of bills? I can't figure it out. The GC's available are garbage.

Did ppl have success with Paytm? The first time I tried, my payments kept erroring out. So i tried 3-4 times each time erroring out...next thing i knew my statements showed 4 bill payments . I dropped PayTM right away after that.

I have still been using it just because it was faster then using the bank apps that I have on my phone

and if I was ever in bestbuy getting something I would grab some gift-cards from it to save a few dollars

I still used it occasionally to fulfill bank pad requirements. Now have to look for an alternative.

did they actually have something like that though?

The remaining gift cards are junk. There's only 3 left and all others are sold out. Maybe they should get some more inventory as good will before they close up.
