I got a letter from Paytm.

it says:

No great loss. I took advantage of their PayTM Free $10 Giftcard For Signing Up (Amazon, UBER, Starbucks, etc). | NO STRINGS ATTACHED! offer when they launched. Then I deleted the app and never used them again.

If my usage is at all typical then perhaps it helps explain why they did a face plant in Canada. (Although it doesn't explain why it took them over 3 years to do it.)

It's been a pretty pointless app for the past couple years at least. Was great when I was able to pay property taxes and utilities with it.
