PC Financial Mastercard Statements

This is for all of you that have the PC Mastercard.
Have you figured out how they determine on which day of the month your statement will end? Its all over the place from month to month.

I called them up and they told me that my statement can end anywhere between the 26th and 28th of the month but couldn't explain further. Does anyone here know how they do it?

Here are my past statement dates:

Jan. ended on 29th
Feb. on 27th
Mar. on 27th
Apr. on 25th
May on 27th
Jun. on 26th
Jul. on 28th
Aug. on 27th
Sep. on 26th

Ok, so who or what decides the number of days for the billing cycle?

Try to count business days instead, e.g. Sep 26th -> 19 b.d. of Sep.
Except Jan and Aug, all your dates are 19th b.d. of the month.
But Jan 29th is 20th b.d., Aug 27th is 18th b.d. :-(

So, a bit better, but still not ideal...

Your future dates will be:
Oct 28th
Nov 27th
Dec 29th

The idea is that neither your bill date or your due date should be a weekend or holiday. Also, there should be a similar number of days between statements. January is off because of the shorter month (February). August is off because of the consecutive 31-day months.

I've been told before that you'll get your bill on the Xth business day of the month. Not sure if this is true.

Does 21 days of grace mean that from the last day of your billing cycle to when the bill is due is at least 21 days?
