Just use the points for 50 bucks worth of "free" groceries. Net cost still the same.

Are there really good advantages? I know there's a huge thread about this. Does it give you alot more points?

If you have young kids and buy diapers and formula and PCO snacks etc, then yes for sure. You can earn the subscription price back in less than 3 trips to the store for diapers, formula etc. Do the math tho

It comes with a $99 voucher on PC Travel. So if you're going to book travels for that site, it's definitely worth it.

Saw in the upcoming No Frills flyer - it's an online deal and the promo code is live NOW! I find this incredibly hot because of the $99 PC Travel credit, even if you don't use any of the other perks. PC Travel offers Vacations/Flights/Hotels/Cruises and Car Rentals at the same general rates as Expedia, etc.

PC Insiders Subscription - get 50% off an annual PC Insides subscription when you use promo code 2XOBPL

Includes:
  • Annual subscribers receive a $99 PC Travel credit toward your next getaway
  • Get free grocery pickup at Loblaws / PC Express locations that offer grocery pickup services
  • Free shipping with no minimum spend online at Joe Fresh & Shoppers Drug Mart
  • 20% back in PC Optimum points on brands: PC Organic, Joe Fresh, PC Black Label, "Baby" brand Diapers and Formula, beautyBOUTIQUE by Shoppers Drug Mart
  • One "surprise delivery" from Galen Weston himself
  • Other exclusive offers

https://www.pcinsiders.ca/

Cost: $99/year - with promo code 2XOBPL $49.50, for the first year

Would suggest looking into turning off auto-renewal unless the full cost ($99/yr) is worth it to you

$100 travel voucher, but I'm not sure how pricing compares.
Plus it forces you to travel. Might not be a huge thing, but it's still added pressure to use it.

Free pickups would be nice, but I don't shop at RCSS to make that worth it.

Organics = No.
Kids = No.

I can't see how it'd even be remotely worth it for me personally.

That's if PC travel is a decent travel company.... I signed up with Insider last year and booked my trip with it, never again! I wasn't able to check in online due to they fail to connect all of my tickets, and on top of that they changed my flight 3 times!

What is this “surprise delivery” from Galen Weston himself? (Or what has it been in the past?)

I got maple syrup, chocolate bar, scone premix, gingerbread premix.

The box was nice. I only used the maple syrup and gave everything else away.

I thought pc travel is like an Expedia or something. Was it the carrier that changed the flight? Or was it pc travel specifically? Don’t you still check in with the flight carrier ?

I was thinking about using them. What was your itinerary like?

You can use ebates with expedia, hotels.com and travelocity (which will go up to 9% sometimes). I find that the $99 kind of nullifies itself in the end.

At 50% it's not bad price though...

Aren’t diapers cheaper at Walmart though?

I guess I posted this in the other duplicate thread. I'll post it here as well:

Itinerary changes, especially multiple, aren't that uncommon, especially when you book a flight months in advance. I booked direct with Delta for my last US trip and got 7 flight changes emailed to me.

PCTravel site sucks. Most flights dont show the little PcInsider $99 credit popup so you have to phone in and it takes about 20 minutes a booking.

They dont even advertise on their site how the credit applies so probably lots of confused people out there never getting a popup will not use their credit.
