Received a PC Optimum email from Loblaws for 2,500 points ($2.50) for every $5 spent on Gillette Fusion or Venus Comfort Glide 3 razors and cartridges tomorrow only (June 20). Considering razors are usually pretty expensive, this seems like great deal.

Coupon on P&G website makes this smoking hot!!! COUPON

Not sure it is valid at any other Loblaws store, but appears open to all members as the email is directed to the website. Offer Link...

It's every $5 which makes it impossible to get anywhere near half back.

Razor prices are so inflated it's best to get it on sale at Costco or online.

You get $2.50 in points for every five so it's half back on total $ (not cents) ending in 5 or 0. Worst case is $4.99 of your total will earn no points. $50 gets $25, $54.99 gets $25.

That is the whole point. I scope out offers every single week and even offers per every $2 are hard to get more than 35-40%. To increase percentage, you want to spend $50 on razors at their prices? It is so inflated it's not even close compared to other sources.

If you don't get it just go for the deal. I dont need to convince anyone they are not saving money on this.

COMFORTGLIDE FREESIA WOMEN'S RAZOR HANDLE AND 2 REFILLS $10 minus 5,000 points ($5) minus $3 coupon, makes for some cheap razors. Forgot I also have an offer for 1,600/$8 on Gillette or Venus products. So after all points and offers $1.70 for a razor that they are charging $10 for ....

Thank you

Your wording made it sound like you don't get half back on Loblaws price. I understand that you don't get a real savings of 50% since places like Costco have better prices.

The best value is Dollarama: $1.25 for 4 - triple bladed razors ~ $.31 each!!!
They give a good shave but don't have the tape edging above the blade. (I don't need it or miss it)
They also don't last quite as long but still out-value anything else I've ever used!

Meh, I don't find the quality of the razor personally works for me, however I have coarse hair that requires a better handle and blade

Looks like the participating products are all reduced and rounded on sale of $5 increments so you’ll get a true 50% back from the sale prices. Meaning more than 50% from reg price

For $40+ spend I'd just get a midgrade electric shaver like the Braun 3's or Philips 3000 series. There are frequent deals on Amazon and Walmart...

Not as close but it's much faster and more practical. Under 60 seconds for a good shave with no mucking around with shaving cream or lotions etc.

Dollar store shavers work pretty good. You can get 10 for a dollar or two. I like to use them when traveling as they are smaller and don't require power.

Double edged razors are definitely the best bang for your buck. Blades cost cents. It's a more aggressive shave, but once you have it figured out, it's way better.

I have a coarse beard also but I was pleasantly surprised by these. I just bought them for my travel bag but now I'm going to use them all the time.
Big savings and a good shave.

I also shave my head and I've tried a lot of safety razors and the best bang for the buck for me are the Edge 4-blades @ Costco, they're almost half the price of the Fusion and are as good in my opinion. I could not go back to 3-bladers, especially not low quality ones.
Happy Koodo customer :-)
