[PeaveyMart] Fluid Film 3.79L $59.99 reg $99.99 (In store only)

For those DIY rustproofers.

I use this stuff on my tools, car, even "waterproofing" my work boots.

You can try price matching at CT if you don't have a PeaveyMart near you but it's 3.79L vs 3.78 at CT, so YMMV.

PrincessAuto also has it on sale for $69.99 (in store only) https://www.princessauto.com/en/product/PA0008857997 (better chance of PM)

Don't have a PeavyMart around me, but this stuff is amazing. Anyone on the fence about it...go get it.

If you're unfamiliar with this stuff be aware that for some the smell may trigger the old gag and vomit reflex.

It's lanolin. A yellowy grease secreted from the sebaceous glands of sheep and collected from their shorn wool.

So yeah it's gross and definitely effective against rust.

Great price.

Not clear how you do a price match when the item is listed at full price on Peavey Mart website - and does not appear in their flyer??

Maybe I'm weird, or maybe I have some Welsh ancestors, but I love the smell of the stuff. It's definitely effective though.

Looks like the sale at Peavey Mart is over, but the sale at Princess Auto is still on.

I've had better luck with PMing PA at CT anyways, even though Peavey meets all the criteria that CT sets out.

Anyone know if this stuff can be applied using a typical spray bottle or do I need a air compressor?

Nope, unless you can find a way to get 60 to 80 psi from your spray bottle.

Apply Fluid Film “NAS” by brush, roller, dipping or pressurized sprayer at 60 to 80 psi (at the sprayer) with spray nozzle orifice of 40 - 50 thou. Keep Container Tightly Closed.

I'm amazed that DIY rustproofers still exist... the service is plastered all over kijiji from 60$+ from hole in the wall shops (up to 140$+ for franchise places.)

I have cans of Krown for tools/touch-ups & Krown my car yearly at a very discounted rate...

This shit makes such a mess lol, but I know that FF is a great product.
