Deal Link:
Expiry:

Peloton
Peloton Digital has a promo where you pay for 1 month and get 2 months free (so 3 months total) for $16.99. Note that this is not the subscription for the bike / you don't need their bike or any bike to use this as they have many other classes like Yoga, Running, Meditation, etc. Membership can be cancelled at any time.

Thanks OP. This will get downvoted because RFD gets mad at nice things that are expensive but good deal

This is a good deal, there's so much different programs/classes/stuff on the app even if you don't have a peloton bike

The quality of the classes and music etc are better than other options like apple fitness or YT etc

Great deal.

Note there used to be a 30 day free trial on the app and you can rinse and repeat each month, had this going free for 9 months. It seems the free trial is still there but I can't get that to work anymore despite completely uninstalling and re-installing the app.

Indeed. Downvoted by people who have not / will never try Peloton themselves… there’s little recognition of high quality on RFD

Paying that much money for an exercise bike is offensive, requiring a constant subscription to keep it running is just Peloton spitting in your face. Some people like to get spit on and convince themselves the high quality of the spit makes it a pleasurable experience. "This is primo spit guys, you should try this!"

I don't get the downvotes as well, it's a fantastic concept and at this price it's a really good deal. Get off your butts and start exercising lol

You don't need the bike, they have full workout videos

Lol. The exact person I’m talking about. Don’t downvote things because you can’t afford them. That strange anger you can’t seem to understand is probably jealousy. Let it go

I'm curious why pay for this. When I can get similar stuff on YouTube for free?

Thanks.

Not here to downvote… just noting that yes the Peloton is a great premium product, I am still contemplating whether my wife and I will get one as several family members have and are enjoying them. We just can’t seem to shake that the Nike Training Club has been free since the beginning of COVID and has a ridiculous amount of all types of workouts, completely free. Once that ends (nothing stating it will anytime soon) we will likely grab a Peloton. We already have Powerblox 50’s, bench etc but would be nice to add the bike eventually.

Last month, My Co-worker who I carpool with. Him & his wife bought a Bowflex Spin bike. (Not sure which model ) it was around 2K taxes in. They barely use it (Maybe because of this weather. They're out more?)

So if you decide to drop this Money Bag. Make sure you use itHeavy Exclamation Mark SymbolHeavy Exclamation Mark SymbolHeavy Exclamation Mark Symbol

The way I am choosing to interpret his “hilariously badly written and angry” comment is that maybe he believes why spend X for Peloton (which includes a nice screen and a media blast of advertising) when you can pay the same for a better quality product like a Keiser. If you read my other post, I am contemplating buying a Peloton, but another thing weighing on us is the quality. I have been around alot of spin bikes. It really does seem like you’re paying alot to add a screen as the bike itself is not premium or at least does not feel like it when you’re side by side with a Keiser. You’re not covering the workouts in the cost of the equipment as those are extra in the Peloton subscription. On the flip side to buying a Peloton bike I know countless others who have an iPad, paid the same price as a Peloton and got a Keiser and had a very good experience. The Keiser is also overall a better spin bike quality wise and is more highly reviewed. No matter what bike you have, you have to subscribe to the workouts. Just my two cents, but you are paying a premium for the Peloton name when buying a Peloton, which is just like a lot of other products out there. I don’t mind it, just want to make sure I am getting the quality to go with the price.

The workouts on the app are decent. For this price its worth a try for a few months to see if you like it. I wouldn't pay for the bike or tread but as a fitness app its pretty solid.

It's amusing how toxic Peloton bike owners get when defending their bad decision. We get it... You regret your decision and if you can get others to make the same mistake, then you feel better about your overpriced purchase. Anyone who says anything negative about your cult bike lacks taste or is poor. Echelon bikes are $699 right now at Walmart and are equivalent when combined with your existing tablet or casted TV.

Anyway, here's my take on the app... The peloton fitness app in the context of this deal is great. It has some fantastic workouts and is definitely worth the ~$5/month per this deal. Apps like NTC or FitOn are great free alternatives with almost as great workouts, but I preferred the peloton HIIT stuff during covid.

I tried it some months ago, have same bike and the app for it is pretty bad. Wanted to do power training that you have in peloton but the problem is that peloton uses different thresholds for power so you have to do the conversion constantly! If you do heart rate or perceived effort (not sure how people exercise with perceived effort but it's the most common for spin bikes) it might be more straightforward. The workouts are good quality for spinning.
