Pergola - Cedar vs PT wood ?

Just wondering if anyone has experience with Cedar pergola in the backyard? Trying to see pro/cons of cedar vs pressure treated.
As far as I know, cedar looks good and stain will look better and also last longer as compared to PT wood.
On the other hand PT wood cheap but after 2-3 yrs looks very old like typical deck PT wood.

Thx.

I got a Yardistry cedar pergola for Costco and it is fantastic. A bit pricey but it will last for a very long time and looks very good.

EDIT: We got ours from Costco 2 years ago and it was $1699.

Cedar looks nicer. It tends to warp and crack less. It's also naturally resistant to microbes and insects. It's also often significantly more expensive than PT wood (which is artificially resistant to deterioration), so might not be worth it if you're planning on letting the wood weather regardless.

Left out smell. Cedar will smell wonderful for a little while.

I used Cedar. It is > 2x the price of PT though. Love the cedar.
