Is Persil Megaperls detergent banned in Canada?

Is Persil Megaperls detergent banned in Canada?

I have been using megaperls detergent for couple of years now. And I really loved it. I am about finish my box and went to Corbeil (in Ottawa) to buy it again. I was told that, Canada does not allow to import Megaperls kind of detergent.

Is is really true?

Has anybody in Toronto having difficulty to buy this detergent lately.

We're just getting ripped off in Canada, as usual. It's $34.99 on Amazon.com with free shipping over $35.

I use liquid Tide with Bleach Alternative for washing my white clothes...does a great job.

it's often sold at European grocers in the GTA.

As well the formula is very similar to the Miele detergent.
