Personal blenders

What is a decent, reliable, and budget-friendly option for a personal smoothie blender? I have a hand blender but it always feels like a long and tedious process to make a quick smoothie in the morning, so I'm looking at easier options. Any recommendations?

Was looking at a magic bullet but not sure if they come on sale for cheaper than $50 or if Costco ever carries it. New to this realm so please help!

Is blender a euphemism?

Ha ha - wondering what the difference between a personal blender and public blender is.

Anyway, I suppose it's size-based in that it's convenient enough to make single servings. Sorry, can't really help here. We have a Oster Versa - it's a full-sized blender but is reasonably cheap for the power.

I was looking at this one, it's about $14 at walmart right now but had mixed reviews. Works well for you though? I'm not a big ice user in smoothies, usually just frozen bananas and berries, plus milk.

Works totally well; I have no problem with frozen fruit or ice.
I know, however, that some people have said it doesn't work well, I sure don't know what the difference is.
I remember reading the model out now is the same guts as the one I have, the outer design was just changed.

Hi everyone! Went on a bit of an adventure today and ended up buying a PC Smoothie blender. 300w motor in it, will test it out tomorrow and see :)
