[PetSmart] 10X Treats Points @ Petsmart Through to Feb.12, 2023 in Store/Online (Requires Treats Membership)

As the title says, get 10X Treats Points this weekend in store and online. We used this offer and bought two large bags of cat food that were on sale for just over $60 each. We used the $7.50 Treats points we already had, so the balance was zero. With the Treats bonus, we now have over 10,000 points, good for $25 off. And if you're buying online, don't forget the fast, free shipping over $49.

Note that you can use the offer more than once. Thanks to @aseikin403 for posting their experience.

Offer details copied below:

PetSmart Treats™ - Earn 10X points on any purchase in stores & online
expires on February 12, 2023
Earn 10X points on any purchase in stores & online

How to Redeem the Offer

If there is an activation button, click “activate offer” to add it to your Treats account. The offer will automatically apply to qualifying purchases, and your Treats points will be loaded into your account within 24 hours.

If there is a barcode or digital code, you must present the barcode in store or apply the digital code at checkout online to redeem the offer.

Curious if my math is right on this... I believe Treats are 1000 points for $2.50, and you don't get any better deals by saving more. 8 points for every $1 spent so $125 for 1000 points or $2.50. Which is a 2% return. So 10x would make this a 20% return? So 18% more than normal....

When I paid for the food, it said my estimated Treats points for the purchase was 9,398 points, And it also had a disclaimer saying this didn't include bonus points that would generate after the food was shipped. But the base points on each of the two bags we bought was about 500 points, so 9,398 points must've been the estimate with the bonus points, which turned out to be even more. We got the food today and when I looked online, the balance was 10,127 points and it says the "redeemable value" is $25. As I said in the OP, we used all our Treats points that we already had for the purchase, so we were at zero or close to it after the purchase.

The base price on the two bags of food we bought was $124.98 (prior to tax) and we got the $25 in Treats points. So yes, a 20% return somehow.

I've always ignored their 10x promo deals, but if it's equivalent to 18% off I guess I should be paying attention! Love stacking deals at petsmart!

I spent $108 online on wet cat food with the 10x offer activated but my account is only 3000pts. Shouldn't it be 9000? It shipped yesterday.

You should go to the page for the cat food you bought. Around where you click on putting it in the cart, it says what the base points are. As far as I can tell, it should be those points, based on how much you bought, X 10. When you checked out, did you see the points it said it was going to give you? That's where I saw the 9,000+ points.

I bought mine on the 9th and saw the points on the account today. It said somewhere that it's 24 hours after shipping, but it seems like more.

I'd definitely take a screenshot from your account where it says you activated that offer, just in case.

is this offer one time use? Ie. if I make more than 1 purchase, would all purchases get 10x? or just the first..

That's a good question. I didn't make more than one purchase, but I can tell you that the offer still appears to be active on my account. You'd think it would've disappeared or been disabled or something if it was one use. Plus the offer says, "Earn 10X points on any purchase in stores & online." I'm thinking it would say "any single purchase" or something like that if it's single use.

Hopefully someone will try that and see what happens. Worst case scenario you could make a second Treats account I think and enable the offer.

Thanks OP, took advantage of this one. Don't forget the treats promo codes in the other thread if you're making a big purchase and haven't used the 20%off code yet.

Side note for other cat guardians, PC optimum is giving 800 points per 4$ spent on fancy feast until Feb 15. Also equals 20% but I don't know if they have the same pricing per dozen as PetSmart.

It's all the purchases made, normally it's 8 points for $1, this means you'd get 80 points per $1. I ordered two separate cat foods, 24x each shipped and got the expected 20% back in points (18% more than normal).

I'll add that to the first post in case someone else wonders.

Check your accounts there might be some exclusive mailer offers that stack. I had the standard 10x points plus another 10x on whole purchase and 5x on dental treats. Ended up getting ~4k points on a $20 purchase
