PG Clucks x Uber Eats - 30% off 6/8/12 piece meals (National Fried Chicken Day 7/6 Toronto Only)

Savings:
30% off
Expiry:
July 6, 2021
Retailer:
PG Clucks

Apparently it's National Fried Chicken Day.

PG Clucks' two Toronto locations have 30% off their 6, 8, and 12 piece meal promos in collab with Uber Eats. I reviewed their website pick-up prices with the Uber Eats regular ones, and they're the same. (Obviously Uber Eats has a service fee if you're not on their EatsPass)

Had them for the first time recently; they have a "fish and chips like batter" to coat their chicken. I enjoyed them. For reference, friend and I shared a 4 piece meal (with 2 sides) for $19 at their Queen West location a couple weeks ago.

Promo combos (you can adjust spice level to your taste on UberEats app):
  • 12 piece meal w/ 3 sides + 2x3 sauces - $40 regular, $28 promo
  • 8 piece meal w/ 3 sides + 1x3 sauces - $32 regular, $22.40 promo
  • 6 piece meal w/ 2 sides + 1x2 sauces - $24 regular, $16.80 promo
  • Regular side options: crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, potato salad, pasta salad, sweet pickles (I loved these), large gravy
  • Additional cost side options: Large crinkle cut fries, poutine
EDIT:
MrGroot wrote: It stacks with 30%off 50 promo, and FYI, the 50 min is based on prediscounted price, so if you order the twelve piece combo, you only need a $10 filler to apply promo.

Don't know why someone would downvote, this is easily 1 of the best fried chicken in Toronto. I am a big time foodie. Of the 5 times I had this recently (over the last couple months), 1 time didn't turn out well but I guess anyone can have a bad day, the other 4 times were fantastic. Like OP said, their instore price is same as on Uber, so the discount is real & not inflated. They use thigh pieces, an avg adult would probably eat 2-3 pcs along with sides. All their sides are above avg IMO

Authoritative fried chicken scientific analysis by professors Taylor and Reynoldson. I cannot remember the name of peer-reviewed journal, though.
Outlaw ellipses and apostrophes.

Now, you've got ven more options whn paying for transit with PRESTO contactless payment on UP Express.

They used to be the best in the city. But now after their expansion and other competition shows up, they are hardly the best anymore. I mean their fried chicken are still decent, but there are other new fried chicken joint that makes better fried chicken like Chen Chen’s Nashville Hot Chicken.

Well I did say "1 of the best", & I definitely agree about Chen Chens. IMO, Chens Chens is now my favourite but 30% off for 1 of the best fried chicken is still a good deal. I would only put Chen Chens above them, & possibly Chica's for best fried chicken sandwich (thought this deal is about chicken pcs & not sandwich). I've tried pretty much all the places for fried chicken sandwich in Toronto

Funny thing is, we actually walked down Queen West to Chenchen's but ended up doubling back to PG Clucks for our fried chicken last time. (I give props to ChenChen for sharing their unit with Icecreamology, after the latter's landlord "issues" at Queens Quay)

I'm just glad we live in a city that with a lot of food options.

Loved the chicken sandwiches when I lived in Toronto, double chicken was an absolute heart attack but so worth it.

25$ with taxes for the 8 piece combo and 3 sides.

Not bad at all considering this would be the equivalent of 12 pieces at KFC since they decided to cut pieces even smaller

There's no code/coupon.

It's a restaurant exclusive promo on UberEats. Look up either "PG Clucks" locations and the promo is at the top of the menu on the app.

See it on both app and website.

It's possible you're outside of either restos delivery range. One is in Little Italy, the other is on Queen West, so East Enders may miss out. (like for my office address, the Queen West store doesn't show up)

What is the cost you see for the 8pc? Regular price is $32, sale price is $22.40 (as stated in OP). Once you add Uber delivery and service fees (assuming no EatsPass), it could certainly add to $32.xx. Cheapest approach is to avoid delivery and do pickup.

Thanks for reminding me to check my other phone!! I had a 30% off 50 offer and was able to get 12 piece with jalapeno honey chicken sandwich for about $30 pickup.

HIGHLY recommend the jalapeno honey chicken sandwich. One of my favourite chicken sandwiches and I like to try out many chicken sandwiches!
